Showing Messages instead of Notifications

This is probably the first Non-Russian topic on the forum so I'm glad I've met with this beautiful CMS, it's really great.
I want to ask you that how to display messages instead of notifications near like this:

Create special menu item in the notifications menu. Otherwise, edit the menu item "Notifications" and set link as "{messages:view}".

@GWK I'm trying to show messages, instead of notifications there.

Added new menu to the section near logo. Added the string you gave as link:

Now I got main menu there, but not message notifications...

I've also tried {messages:notices}, it also did not work. What do I do wrong?

Thank you guys, now I've figured out how the menu section works.😊This script is much more detailed then I thought. I definitely deserves much more attraction.
